SWIMMING LESSONS

AMERICAN RED CROSS LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM
(For ages five and up)

The Learn to Swim program is sanctioned by The American Red Cross and is among the leading swimming lesson programs in the country. Participants will be instructed in floating, bobbing, bubbles, submerging their face, prone glide, supine glide, front crawl, back stroke, breast stroke, use of kickboards, safety tips, and what to do in an emergency situation. Advanced participants will also be instructed in the butterfly. Participants will be placed in the section best suited to their ability. If your child does not know how to swim at all please inform the instructor. Children participating in any given level will not necessarily be promoted to the next level, all skills must be completed before participants will be promoted. Each child will receive a certificate for completion of the week.

The cost per week is $40.

PARENT TOT WATER ADJUSTMENT TRAINING
(For ages 18 months to 4 years old with an adult)

Get your tiny tots off to a great aquatics start!
This course is available to toddlers and preschoolers 18 months to four years old who are accompanied by an adult. Toddlers and preschoolers will be instructed in bobbing, bubbles, submerging their face, dance position, hug position, and water adjustment. Adults will be instructed on how to help their young one adjust to the water. Please remember that this is an introductory course only and not a swimming lesson. Don't forget, this course is designed for toddlers and preschoolers who are accompanied by an adult. No child will be allowed in the water without an adult age 18 or older in the water with them.

The cost per week is $40.
